1. Read this instructions with photos before you start. Check if the set includes all parts.
2. Remount the old clutch drum ( according Honda workshop manual ), clean thread on the shaft and big nut from old glue with brake cleaner.
3. Check the big washer between basket and hub on it´s position ( 239a ).
4. Install assembled slipper drum ( 239b ).
5. Put kit steel washer from set ( 239c ).
6. Tighten the big nut ( STD ) with torque 82 Nm and secure it with glue Loctite No. 620 ( 239d, 239e ).
7. This slipper clutch is designed for using STD clutch plates. Correct clutch plates pack thickness is 34,4 – 34,7 mm. ( 239 f ). This clutch is designed for models 1990 – 2001. For MY 1986-1989 you have to use clutch plates set from 1990+ model.
8. Put complete push rod in ( 239g )
9. Install pressure plate ( 239h ).
10. Put STD clutch springs in , put spring kit-retainers, Tighten all M5 bolts with torque 8 Nm ( 239i ). Red retainers = less engine backotorque, silver retainers = more engine backtorque. It is possible to mix both springs retainers.

Check correct clearance between pressure plate and clutch hub in bore in pressure plate. Correct clearance is 0.9 - 1.2 mm, minimal clearance is 0.5mm. In this case change all friction plates to new ones.

11. Every time use new clutch cover gasket.
12. Adjust clearance on clutch cable
13. Mount case cover according to Honda workshop manual.
